Szymon Goc -senior manager, actuarial & insurance solutions group - Deloitte Poland
Szymon Goc is a senior manager for Deloitte Poland's actuarial & insurance solutions group, the leading business consulting services provider for the insurance sector in Poland.
His main areas of expertise include target operating model development, restructuring, process improvement and IT implementations, leading large scale programs, including organizational transformations and IT systems implementations.
Szymon has more than 10 years of insurance experience from numerous organisational
transformations and IT systems implementation programs for major insurers in central europe. He has been with Deloitte since 2006. Prior to joining Deloitte he was with Andersen Business Consulting (previously Arthur Andersen). Cees J Klaassen - managing director - ABS International BV
For the first 20 years of his professional life Cees Klassen worked in the car rental industry and was a key player in a team which was responsible for the growth and development of one of the most succesful car rental organisations.
This environment was the place where he really learned to understand the systems utilization and revenue management. In 2003 he moved to the bodyshop market and started to create his dream to rebuild the ABS organization. As managing director in the period 2003 - 2010 he created the experience, volume and systems for the network within a unique mechanism of ownership of the 96 bodyshops making up the ABS network, resulting in the organisation taking a market leading position within the insurance and leasing market.
At the beginning of 2011 he started, together with ABS Netherlands, as an entrepreneur to expand the ABS bodyshop network beyond the Netherlands to create a unique international network of body repairers

David Lingham - IBIS conference director & director - Orbis Worldwide
David Lingham is based in the UK but travels extensively for clients.
After 20 years in the plastics industry, since 1989 David has been working in senior positions within paint companies and distribution in the accident repair sector.
David set up his own company - Orbis Worldwide - in 2002 and since that time has been IBIS moderator, becoming IBIS Conference Director in 2011. In addition, David has been closely involved in other IBIS events in South Africa, Italy, America and Australia, and has supported various other events around the world including the UK, USA, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Italy and France mostly, but not exclusively, in accident repair.
Uwe Schmortte - site manager & head of research - KTI
At the end of five years studying engineering at the WHZ University in Zwickau, Uwe Schmortte's completed his diploma thesis on reversible airbag electronic systems.
On leaving university he was taken on as a project engineer in the damage and reparability department of KTI, becoming head of damage repair and research in 2004 and site manager, head of research, in 2006.
He is currently involved with various national and international working groups and activities and is a member of RCAR.
David Shepherd FIMI - regional managing director, Audatex and AUTOonline central and eastern europe
Dave Shepherd has over 40 years' experience in the motor repair and claims industry.
He is a fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry and has many years' experience in business process re-engineering, business start-ups, acquisitions and business development.
Dave Shepherd was the founder and managing director of one of the largest UK accident repair groups in the London region, selling his award winning business to Aviva in 2006.
In 2008 Dave joined Audatex as global account manager responsible for Allianz and, in 2011, was appointed managing director responsible for Audatex and AUTOonline businesses in central and eastern europe. This role has rapidly expanded and, today, David is responsible for the Audatex and AUTOonline businesses in 24 countries.
Tomasz Tarkowski - management board member - PZU SA and PZU Zycie SA
Tomasz is a graduate of the automobiles and working machinery department at the Warsaw Technical University and the University of Insurance and Banking. In addition, he
completed the advanced management programme of IESE Business School University of Navarra and post-graduate studies on road traffic safety and on business insurance.
Affiliated with the PZU Group since 1996, Tarkowski initially dealt with internal control and insurance fraud combating. Since 2002 he has been in the company's claims handling division, and was director of its claims handling center in Warsaw.
Between 2007 and 2011 he was a management board member of PZU Ukraine responsible for claims handling and product management.
Today, Thomas Tarkowski is the management board member responsible for claims handling arrangement processes in PZU SA and PZU Zycie SA.
